Business details: payment methods, shipping and importing your info
Keep how brands pay you, where they ship products and who you bill as in one private place. Import it all from a Notion page or a file with AI, review every value, and share a shipping address on a deal in one click.
Many creators keep a page with their "About me", payment info, shipping info and social links. Pointerly keeps each of those in the right place, so invoices and deals can use them without you copying and pasting.
Open Settings → Collaborations → Business details.
What goes where
| What | Where it lives | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Display name, bio, social handles, media kit link, niches | Your creator profile | Brands (it's your public profile) |
| Media kit file (PDF or image) | Your creator profile, stored privately | Brands you pitch, through a link that expires |
| Legal or business name, billing address, tax ID, invoice numbering, logo | Billing identity | Your workspace only |
| PayPal, bank accounts (ACH, wire, SWIFT/IBAN), Zelle, Wise, PIX | Payment methods | Your workspace only |
| Where brands ship products | Shipping addresses | Your workspace only |
Business details are never sent to AI after an import, never shown to agents and never shared with other creators.
Payment methods
Choose Add method and pick how the brand pays you. Each type asks only for what it needs. For example, a US bank transfer asks for the account holder, the bank, the routing number and the account number.
- Account numbers are encrypted. Account, routing and wire routing numbers, SWIFT/BIC, IBAN and PIX keys are stored encrypted. Pointerly shows them masked, like •••• 4567.
- Reveal shows the full numbers when you need to check them. They're hidden again when you leave the page.
- Show on invoices: methods with this on are ticked on every new invoice. On an invoice you can tick or untick each method. The invoice PDF prints the ticked methods in full, because the brand needs the numbers to pay you. Anything else you type under Other payment instructions prints after them.
- When you edit a method, leave a masked field empty to keep the saved number.
Shipping addresses
Add the addresses where brands can send products, like home or a studio. They're separate from your billing address. The first one you add is the default.
To share one on a deal, open the deal, choose More → Share shipping address and pick the address:
- Draft email writes an email to the deal's contact with the address. It's saved as a draft in your mailbox, so you can review it and send it yourself.
- Copy address puts it on your clipboard.
The deal's History notes that you shared your shipping address. The address itself isn't written there.
Import my details with AI
Choose Import my details and pick a source:
- a Notion page: paste its link. Share the page with your Pointerly Notion connection first;
- a file: PDF, Word (.docx), CSV or Excel, up to 4 MB;
- an image: a screenshot or photo (PNG, JPEG or WebP), up to 4 MB.
AI reads the source once and sorts every value by where it belongs: Public profile, Private · Billing, Private · Payments or Private · Shipping. Nothing is saved yet. In the review you can:
- keep or skip each value with its checkbox;
- edit a value before saving. Account numbers are hidden until you choose the eye icon.
Choose Save to store only the values you kept. Each one goes through the same checks as the forms. For example, a routing number must have 9 digits. If something can't be saved, the summary says why, and everything else is still saved.
Good to know:
- Passwords and birth dates are never kept. If your page has a password, a PIN or a login, the review tells you, for example: "We skipped a password found in your Notion page. Pointerly never stores passwords: remove it from your Notion page."
- A full Social Security number is never kept. Only its last 4 digits are used as your tax ID.
- The source itself isn't stored. AI reads it once, on a no-training route (never DeepSeek), and only for this import.
- An import uses 1 AI credit. It's free when your workspace uses its own AI key.
- Public values update your creator profile, which brands can see. You need a creator profile first: if you don't have one yet, set it up and import again.
- iPhone HEIC photos can't be read yet. Take a screenshot of the photo, or export it as JPEG, and import that.
Your media kit
Add your media kit on your creator profile (Creator → Profile → Basic info → Media kit): a link, a file (PDF, PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 10 MB), or both. Business details shows both, and Open opens the file.
The file is private. When a pitch uses {{media_kit_url}}, it gets your media kit link if you added one. Otherwise it gets a link to the file that stops working after 14 days.
Import a brand's billing details
On a brand, choose More → Import billing details and pick a document from the brand, like a vendor form or a W-9, or a screenshot of one. AI fills the brand's billing name, address, tax ID, billing email and contact for your invoices. You review the values before anything is saved, the same as for your own details.
