Help Center/Delegated Workspace
Access, plan, and settings
Choose the Delegated areas you pay for, what the Pointerly team can open, and how Poppy runs, reviews, and notifications work.
Two different choices control Delegated:
- What you pay for — the areas on the Delegated plan
- What the team may touch — Pointerly access, which can only narrow those areas
Operators never see this page. Billing, team members, API keys, and contract signing stay off their list no matter which level you pick.
Before you start
- Delegated Workspace is active. Without it, Settings → Delegated Workspace explains that you add it from Billing, with View add-ons
- You can manage Delegated (Owner or Admin). Anyone else sees that only the workspace owner or an admin can change access, and the settings page itself is behind that permission
- Changing the paid areas also needs permission to manage billing
Open it at Dashboard → Settings → Delegated Workspace (/dashboard/settings/delegated). The tab is hidden until the add-on is on the workspace.
Choose the plan
Delegated plan lists the areas. Check the ones you want. The total under the list is the monthly price.
- Pick any mix of Links & bio ($149), Content & social ($249), and Growth & reports ($129)
- When those three are all selected, or when buying them separately would cost at least as much as Full, the total switches to Full Delegated ($499/mo) and says it saves the difference, incl. workspace operations
- Collaborations ($249) stays on its own line, labeled Not part of Full. If the Collaboration add-on is missing, the row is locked: Add the Collaboration add-on first.
- The line under the price says Plus usage, billed as usual
On the board, before you have bought anything, the same picker starts with the three base areas selected. The button is Add Delegated Workspace. After a purchase the toast is Delegated Workspace is active.
In settings the button is Update plan. The toast is Delegated plan updated. New areas are prorated onto your subscription. Areas you drop stop billing right away.
A checkout that needs a card sends you to pay, then back. If the action is refused, the toast is Could not update Delegated.
Choose what Pointerly can access
The first time the engagement is active, owners and admins get Choose what Pointerly can access. Until you save, access is full control inside the areas you pay for.
| Level | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Full control | Everything in the areas you pay for, except billing, team members, API keys, and signing contracts |
| Links & bio | That area only. Locked with Not in your Delegated plan if you do not pay for it |
| Content & social | That area only |
| Growth & reports | That area only |
| Custom | A checklist. Groups are Links & bio, Content & social, Growth & reports, and Brand & partnerships. Modules outside the plan say (not in plan). The Delegated Workspace, notifications, support, and the assistant stay included |
Save access on the prompt, or Save access in settings. The prompt toast is Pointerly access saved. You can change it in Settings. Settings toast is Pointerly access updated. Decide later only hides the prompt in this browser. Reset throws away unsaved edits.
A note under the picker: Pointerly never gets access to billing & payments, team members, API keys, contract signing.
Changes apply right away. If the engagement is not active yet, settings say Pointerly access applies once the Delegated Workspace engagement is active.
Pointerly AI
| Control | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| AI replies on requests | On | Posts a short reply when the AI updates tasks or needs a detail. Off: tasks still update, silently |
| Approve Poppy runs | Pointerly approves | Also I approve each run and Pointerly, then me. Nothing is created until that approval is given |
| Run Poppy's steps yourself | On | For an easy link, bio entry, or DM automation, you can run it right away. Everything else goes to the team. Forced off while Pointerly, then me is selected: Off while Pointerly has to approve every run too. |
Each switch or menu saves immediately (Settings saved).
Notifications and reviews
| Control | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Notify owners and admins | On | Owners and admins also get in-app and push when a task is done or a request changes status. The person who sent the request is always notified |
| Default priority | Normal | Used when a request is sent without Urgent. The other choice is High |
| Auto-accept reviews | Off | After 1 day through After 30 days (the menu offers 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 14, 21, and 30). A review with no answer is accepted and the requester is notified |
Your own push and in-app switches for Request updates live under Notification preferences. Replies still email you either way.
