Help Center/Delegated Workspace
Delegated Workspace overview
Hand work in your Pointerly workspace to the Pointerly team. Poppy helps shape the plan. You keep the board, the thread, and the final say.
Delegated Workspace is a paid add-on. The Pointerly team works inside your existing workspace on the areas you pay for. You describe the outcome, follow it on a board, answer questions, and accept the result. Poppy can turn a brief into steps and, when your approval settings allow it, run the steps Poppy can do on its own.
You do not get a second workspace. Operators use your accounts, tags, and modules, inside the access you choose. Usage they generate (clicks, AI credits, publishes, and the rest) bills to your workspace the same way your own work does.
What you'll do
- Open Delegated from the Workspace / Delegated switch
- See what a request is and how the board is organized
- Know which areas you can hand over, and what stays yours
Before you start
- An Individual, Team, or Enterprise workspace (the add-on is not on Free)
- Permission to view Delegated. Without it, the page says You don’t have access to the Delegated view and asks you to contact a workspace owner or admin
- The add-on itself, or permission to manage billing if you are buying it from the board
Open Delegated
The Delegated view replaces the dashboard chrome. Two ways in:
| Surface | What you use |
|---|---|
| Workspace / Delegated switch | Delegated. Choosing it also remembers the view, so the next sign-in can land here |
| Address | /dashboard/delegated |
Workspace on the same switch returns you to the normal dashboard. The header also has Back to workspace.
If the workspace has not bought Delegated, members who can view it see Let the Pointerly team run it for you and a plan picker. Add Delegated Workspace needs permission to manage billing. Everyone else sees the lock and Ask a workspace owner or admin for access.
While the team is on your workspace, the status line reads Pointerly Team is on your workspace, with how many requests are in the works and how many need you.
What you can hand over
Delegated is sold by area. Each area is its own monthly add-on. Full Delegated covers the three base areas plus workspace operations, and costs less than buying those three separately. Collaborations is never part of Full.
| Area | What the team can run | Monthly price |
|---|---|---|
| Links & bio | Links, collections, bio pages, QR codes, deals, A/B tests, and domains. Affiliate tags and integrations are read-only | $149 |
| Content & social | Content Studio, publishing, AI content, calendar, social accounts, DM automations, inbox, WhatsApp, Telegram, automations, and routines. Links and bio pages are read-only | $249 |
| Growth & reports | Analytics, reports, affiliate tags, earnings, exports, and integrations. Links and bio pages are read-only | $129 |
| Full Delegated | The three areas above, plus workspace operations: campaigns, applications, partnerships, pipeline, contract drafts, and brand or creator profiles | $499 |
| Collaborations | Your brand CRM: outreach, follow-ups, deals, and agents. Needs the Collaboration add-on. Marked Not part of Full | $249 |
Prices are USD per month, on top of your plan and metered usage. New areas are prorated onto the subscription. Areas you drop stop billing right away.
The team only works in areas you pay for. Inside those areas you still choose modules under Pointerly access. See Access, plan, and settings.
Pointerly never gets billing and payments, team members, API keys, or contract signing. Operators also cannot open Rewards, connected apps, the browser extension, workspace ownership, or Delegated settings.
The board
An empty workspace asks What should Pointerly do for you? The composer sits under that headline. After the first request, you get three layouts: Board (default), Table, and Timeline.
Customer column names, left to right:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Submitted | You sent it. Nobody has started |
| In progress | Someone is working on it, including you if you start it yourself |
| Needs your input | The team is waiting on an answer from you |
| Ready for review | The work is ready for you to accept or send back |
| Done | Accepted, or marked done |
| Cancelled | Closed without finishing. You can resubmit |
Done and Cancelled keep the 30 most recent cards. The other columns keep up to 200.
Open a card to the thread: the plan, messages, deliverables, and the actions for that status. Public request ids look like dlg_ plus 12 characters.
Who can do what
Delegated uses the Delegated permission module.
| Preset | Typical access |
|---|---|
| Owner and Admin | View, create, edit, change status, and manage (settings, assignment, operator controls) |
| Manager | View, create, edit, and change status. No manage |
| Editor | View, create, and edit. Cannot move status or open settings |
| Viewer | View only |
| Collaborator and Partnership | No Delegated access unless you grant it |
A grant scoped to own shows only the requests that person raised. Team-wide view shows the workspace’s requests.
The person who sent a request is always notified. Owners and admins can also be notified. See Access, plan, and settings.
