Help Center/Reports & marketplace imports
Reports overview
How marketplace report imports connect affiliate tags, per-tag dashboards, and link-level revenue.
Pointerly does not invent commissions—it imports the files your partner networks already produce, stores them against affiliate tags, and reconciles rows back to links where product IDs match.
Outcome
You understand where to import reports, where to read per-tag sales, and how imports relate to tags and link stats.
Before you start
- At least one affiliate tag with a correct tracking ID.
- A plan that includes sales reports by tag (Individual or higher unlocks Amazon / eBay / Walmart tag reports).
- Permission to view or import reports on the team.

How reporting fits together
| Piece | Role |
|---|---|
| Affiliate tag | Holds the Tracking ID / campaign ID used for matching |
| Report import | Uploaded .xlsx / .csv / .zip stored under that tag |
| Tag report page | Charts and tables for one tag (/dashboard/reports/tag/…) |
| Link stats sync | Updates conversions and earnings on links that match ASINs / item IDs / SKUs |
| Settings → Reports | Central place to import by store and run Sync link stats |
Where to work
- Dashboard → Affiliate Tags — Import from the header (Import Report) or a tag’s ⋯ → Import report / View reports.
- Dashboard → Settings → Reports — Import Amazon, eBay, or Walmart files and sync link stats for the whole team.
- Tag report page — Opened via View reports; shows revenue, ad fees, orders, filters, and row-level detail for that tag.

Supported stores (imports)
- Amazon — Fee Statement / Fee-Orders
.xlsx, Linked-Product.xlsx, Sponsored Products for Creators (SPCC).csv, or Amazon’s.zipwrappers (max 10 MB). Feature:amazon_tag_reports. - eBay — Partner Network Transaction / Performance
.csv. Feature:ebay_tag_reports. - Walmart — Impact.com Action / Performance
.csv. Feature:walmart_tag_reports.
Creators API credentials on an Amazon tag are for product data and deals. Sales and commission charts come from imported reports (and related sync), not from Creators credentials alone.
Typical workflow
- Create tags whose values match your partner Tracking IDs.
- Download the period’s report from Associates / EPN / Impact.com.
- Import the file against the matching tag (or scan first to detect IDs).
- Open the tag’s report page to review totals and product rows.
- Reconcile “without link” rows and run Sync link stats when needed.
