Earnings overview

Track projected and realized collaboration earnings by source, chart performance by affiliate tag, and add manual ledger entries.

draft

Earnings is the collaboration ledger: projected vs realized money across system campaigns, Creator Connect (Amazon), Sponsored Products, partnerships, Content Studio publications, and manual rows. Summary cards, projection charts, by affiliate tag breakdowns, and a filterable ledger table live on one page.

What you'll do

  • Open Dashboard → Earnings (feature earnings_ledger + earnings permission)
  • Switch granularity (week / month / quarter / year) and mode (projected / actual / both)
  • Filter by source, open row details, and Add earning manually when needed
  • Use ?source= deep links (for example from Content Studio) to land pre-filtered

Before you start

  • Plan includes the Earnings ledger (often via add-ons)
  • Your role can view Earnings
  • Marketplace reports / campaigns / publications feeding the ledger are imported or active
  • Partnership creators only see their own rows on a brand team; brand admins see everyone

  2. Set mode: Projected, Actual, or Both.
  3. Choose a source filter:

    • Sponsored Products (Amazon)
    • Partnership
    • Publications
    • Manual
  4. Read the projection chart for the default rolling range (about prior 11 months through ~7 months ahead).
  5. Review By affiliate tag to see which tags drive gross / commission / creator share.

3. Work the ledger table

  1. Scroll to the ledger table of collaboration entries.
  2. Each row carries status such as forecast, pending, confirmed, paid, or cancelled, plus expected/actual amounts and payout dates when set.
  3. Click a row to open the entry detail sheet (amounts, commission %, notes, source refs, linked link when present).
  4. Update status or fields from detail when your permissions allow.

  2. In the manual entry sheet, enter title, currency, expected and/or actual amounts, expected payout date, status, optional commission/share percents, and notes.
  3. Save—the row appears with source Manual.
  4. Use manual entries for offline brand deals or corrections that are not auto-imported from reports or campaigns.

Tips

  • Import marketplace reports regularly so Amazon-driven rows stay in sync—see Reports.
  • Filter Publications after Content Studio campaigns to attribute commission to specific posts.
  • Prefer Both mode when forecasting cash flow against already paid amounts.
  • Tag performance charts depend on links carrying the right affiliate tags.
  • Deep-link with ?source=content_publication (or another source kind) when sharing a focused view with teammates.
