What you'll achieve

  • Multi-select Amazon deals from the Deals catalog
  • Preview the batch in the bulk import sheet
  • Create links with auto-generated slugs, titles, images, deep linking, and your preferred Amazon affiliate tag
  • Verify results in Links and handle partial failures

Before you start

  • Deals feature access on your plan
  • Correct team selected
  • A preferred / default Amazon affiliate tag (bulk import always uses the Amazon preferred tag)
  • Enough link capacity for the batch size (plan link limits apply)

Steps

1. Select Amazon deals to import

  1. Go to Dashboard → Deals.
  2. On the Deals tab, use the Amazon store (bulk selection for import is Amazon deal data).
  3. Search or filter until you see the products you want.
  4. Select multiple deal cards (checkboxes / selection mode on the catalog).
  5. Choose Import as Links / open the bulk import sheet from the selection bar.

eBay and Walmart results can still be saved or turned into links one at a time; this bulk sheet is for Amazon selections.

2. Review the import sheet

The sheet title shows how many deals will import (for example Import 12 Deals as Links).

For each deal you should see:

  • Product image (when available)
  • Brand and title
  • Price, original price, discount badge, and rating when present

Confirm the set before creating—deselect deals and reopen if anything is wrong. Description copy notes you can edit slugs and tags later in Links.

Import Deals as Links dialog with product image title and price
  1. Click Create N Links.
  2. Watch progress toast (Creating links from deals… 0/N). Imports run in chunks of 10.
  3. Wait for the success summary (N links created or created + failed counts). Failed items often note duplicates or invalid destinations.
  4. The sheet closes when the batch finishes; selection clears on success.

Pointerly creates each link with:

  • Product URL as destination
  • Truncated product title (about 80 characters max)
  • Product image when available
  • Slug derived from the title (plus last 5 characters of the ASIN when available for uniqueness)
  • Your preferred Amazon affiliate tag (affiliateTagId / default Amazon tag)
  • Deep linking enabled

Progress toast Creating links from deals with count
  1. Open Dashboard → Links.
  2. Confirm the new short links appear (newest first).
  3. Spot-check destinations and that the Amazon tag is correct.
  4. Edit slugs, groups, or tags individually if needed.
  5. If some failed, note duplicates or invalid URLs and retry those deals alone.

Tips

  • Keep batches focused (one niche or campaign) so group organization stays clean
  • Prefer products with clear titles and images—slugs read better in reports
  • After import, use Links bulk actions to add the batch to a group or bio
  • Failed items are often duplicates—search Links by title or ASIN before retrying
  • For eBay / Walmart, create links from the deal card or Saved (store-matched tag) instead of this sheet

Common questions

Can I bulk-import non-Amazon deals?
No. The import sheet works on Amazon deal selections and always attaches the preferred Amazon affiliate tag. For eBay or Walmart, create links one at a time (or from Saved) so the correct store tag can apply.

How does the affiliate tag apply on import?
Every link in the batch gets affiliateTagId set to your preferred Amazon tag for the active team. There is no per-deal tag picker in the sheet—change the tag afterward in Links if needed.

What if I don’t have an Amazon tag?
Create an Amazon affiliate tag first. Without a preferred Amazon tag, import may create links without the tag you expect; set the correct default / preferred Amazon tag before large batches.

Why did some links fail?
Partial failures usually mean duplicates or invalid destinations. The toast may say some deals were skipped. Open Links, skip existing products, and retry failures alone.
