Creator applications

Track application status, negotiation, withdrawals, and brand decisions.

draft

Creator → Applications is your inbox for every Pointerly campaign application. Filter by status, open a detail page for cover letter and offer history, respond during negotiation, withdraw if needed, and follow approvals through to contract.

What you'll do

  • Open the applications list for the active creator team
  • Filter by status and open an application detail
  • Understand each status and what happens next
  • Withdraw a pending application when you no longer want it
  • Know when deliverable submissions apply after approval

2. Open an application detail

  1. Click an application row (URL uses the application public ID).
  2. Review cover letter, proposed rate, match score / reasons (when shown), and deliverable links you attached.
  3. Check brand messages, offers, and contract terms as the status advances.
  4. Use links back to the campaign brief when you need requirements again.

3. Negotiate, withdraw, or continue after approval

  1. Negotiating: respond to rate / term offers in the product until an offer is accepted.
  2. Withdraw only while the application can still be withdrawn (typically before final contract)—confirm in the UI.
  3. After approved (contract pending) / contracted, follow contract and deliverable prompts.
  4. For contracted work, submit deliverable links from the application / campaign deliverables flow when the brand requires proof of posts.

Approvals and rejections also create in-app notifications with a deep link back to this detail page.

Tips

  • Withdraw stale pending applications to free plan capacity for new applies.
  • Keep proposed rates consistent with your profile rate card unless the brief asks otherwise.
  • Rejection reasons (when provided) are useful feedback for the next pitch.
  • Brand-side review lives under Brand → Applications; you only see creator-facing status here.
