Creator workspace overview
Set up your creator profile, discover brand campaigns, and track applications in one workspace.
The Creator workspace is Pointerly’s home for creator–brand partnerships. Use it to publish a public creator profile brands can discover, browse open campaigns, apply with a cover letter and rate, and follow each application through review, offers, and contracts.
This is separate from Amazon Creator Connections (Associates / CC enrollments). Creator workspace campaigns are Pointerly-hosted brand briefs under /dashboard/creator/….
What you'll do
- Confirm you are in a creator team context
- Complete or open your public creator profile
- Browse campaigns, apply, and manage applications
- Know where public profile and campaign URLs live for brands
Before you start
- Correct team selected in the workspace switcher
- Team type set to creator (team type cannot be changed after it is set)
- Plan capacity for active applications (limits apply when you apply)
- Optional: connect social platforms so your profile shows verified handles and stats
How the workspace fits together
| Area | Path | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Profile | /dashboard/creator/profile | Public identity brands see (/c/[username]) |
| Campaigns | /dashboard/creator/campaigns | Discover and open active brand campaigns |
| Applications | /dashboard/creator/applications | Track status, offers, and follow-ups |
Application statuses you may see:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Submitted; waiting for brand review |
| Negotiating | Offer / terms discussion in progress |
| Approved (contract pending) | Brand approved; contract step next |
| Contracted | Partnership locked in |
| Rejected | Brand declined (reason may be shown) |
| Withdrawn | You withdrew the application |
When you apply, Pointerly computes a match score from your profile vs the campaign (platforms, categories, followers, and related signals). Brands see that context when reviewing.
Steps
1. Open the Creator workspace
- Go to Dashboard → Creator (or open Profile / Campaigns / Applications from the creator nav).
- Confirm the active team is the creator workspace you intend to use.
- If you have never created a profile, start with Profile before applying.
2. Complete your public profile
- Open Creator → Profile.
- Set username, display name, headline, bio, avatar, and cover.
- Add categories, tags, rates, and portfolio items brands use for matching.
- Turn public on when you are ready to appear at
/c/[username].
Details: Creator profile.
3. Find campaigns and apply
- Open Creator → Campaigns.
- Filter or open a campaign that is active and still accepting applications.
- Submit with cover letter, optional proposed rate, and support / deliverable links.
- Open Applications to confirm the new row is pending.
Details: Creator campaigns and Creator applications.
Tips
- Brands discover you via a public profile with a unique username—draft profiles do not help matching.
- Keep categories and platforms accurate; they feed the match score on each application.
- If apply is blocked by plan limits, withdraw stale applications or upgrade before retrying.
- Public campaign pages live on brand profiles (
/b/[username]/campaigns/…); use Applications for your private status trail.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to try |
|---|---|---|
| Creator nav missing | Wrong team type or role | Switch to a creator team; ask an owner for access |
| Cannot apply | Campaign closed, deadline passed, or slots full | Pick another active campaign |
| “Already applied” | Duplicate apply blocked | Open Applications for that campaign |
| Application limit reached | Plan cap on active applications | Withdraw pending apps or upgrade Billing |
| Profile not findable | Not public / no username | Set username and enable public visibility |
