OneDrive Integration Guide

Overview

Connect Microsoft OneDrive for file sharing in campaigns.

Adding the app (required)

  1. Sign in to Pointerly.
  2. Open Dashboard > Integrations.
  3. Open OneDrive.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. Complete provider authorization and grant requested permissions.
  6. Return to Pointerly and confirm status is Connected.

Usage (required)

Attach files from OneDrive

Use case: Attach cloud files in applications, campaigns, pipeline cards, and calendar events.

Prerequisites:

  • OneDrive connected
  1. Open any attachment-enabled form (campaign, application, card, or event).
  2. Choose file picker for OneDrive.
  3. Select file/link and attach to the current record.

Use attachments in delivery workflows

Use case: Keep source files and deliverables connected to operational objects.

Prerequisites:

  • Attachment permissions enabled in provider account
  1. Review attached links in details panel.
  2. Open or share links with collaborators.
  3. Update attachments as workflow status changes.

Removing the app (required)

Disconnect from Pointerly

  1. Open Dashboard > Integrations > OneDrive.
  2. Click Disconnect.

Remove from provider account

  1. Open OneDrive connected apps/integrations settings.
  2. Remove or revoke Pointerly app access.

Deauthorization implications

  • Integration state is set to disconnected in Pointerly.
  • Stored OAuth token fields are cleared.
  • Provider API actions are blocked until reconnect.

Troubleshooting

OAuth connect fails

  • Retry connection from Dashboard > Integrations.
  • Confirm you are authorizing the intended provider account.
  • Verify team has required plan/add-on entitlement for this provider.

Permission or scope errors

  • Reconnect the integration and approve requested scopes.
  • Check provider settings to ensure required account-level permissions are granted.
