Data Deletion Instructions
If you signed up with Facebook Login, you can request deletion of your data at any time. This page explains what data will be deleted and how to submit your request.
What we remove
Your data, permanently deleted
When you request deletion, we permanently remove all traces of your account and data from our systems.
Two options
How to request deletion
Choose the method that works best for you. Both are equally effective.

How long does it take?
We process deletion requests as quickly as possible while ensuring complete removal.
Immediate (self-service)
If you delete from settings, access is revoked right away and your data is removed from active systems after a 30-day grace period.
Within 30 days (email request)
If you email us, we verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.
Within 8 days (backups)
Our database provider keeps daily backups for 7 days, so deleted data is gone from backups within 8 days of being deleted from active systems. Records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, are kept for the period it sets.
12 months (workspaces nobody takes over)
A workspace you own that you don't transfer to another member is archived: its links are paused, its pages unpublished, and its members removed. We email the former members we have on record 30 days ahead, then permanently delete it, with its links, pages, analytics, and files, 12 months after it was archived. To have it deleted sooner, email privacy@pointerly.io.
Warning
Before you delete
Please understand these consequences before proceeding. This action cannot be reversed.
Permanent action
This action cannot be undone. Once deleted, your data is gone forever.
Links stop working
All your affiliate links will break immediately and return 404 errors.
Bio pages removed
Your bio pages and any custom domains will be permanently removed.
Subscriptions cancelled
Any active subscriptions will be automatically cancelled.
Analytics lost
You will lose all historical analytics data and reports.
